"I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. "It was a pleasant stay for us a family in Dec. 24Deg and away from cold was always welcome. Staff is very well behaved and they looked after all of the guests equally well, so full marks to them. Rooms are very basic and does the job who are not too fussy about it ! Overall, the property needs some modernisation and especially the entertainment options for kids are very limited. If you are a vegan or vegetarian then be careful before choosing to stay here as options for veggie people are close to NONE !"
