Sink your toes into the soft sands of Playa Hermosa's pristine beach, where tranquil waves beckon swimmers and sunbathers alike. After a day of seaside bliss, savour mouthwatering local cuisine at Rocio's Kitchen or explore the nearby rocky shores of Playa Pedregosa.
The pool is not large but although the hotel was quite busy pool access was good. The grounds are kept beautiful and the staff are all very nice. One street back from the beach so no sea view, but could hear the waves and easily reach the beach.
The villa we had was great even if the furnishings are a bit old.

We booked our holiday as a special treat for our tenth anniversary and had never travelled to Costa Rica before, so we were not sure what to expect or the standard of the hotel as it was rated a mere two and a half stars on Expedia. We thought that we would take a chance and book 5 nights at Casa Chameleon Las Catalinas as the description and images looked amazing, however we left on our travels expecting it not to live up to expectations as per many hotels that we have booked and stayed at, you...

Our stay at Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, was truly exceptional. The resort is spectacular, with breathtaking views, beautifully designed facilities and an incredible sense of privacy and tranquillity.
The facilities are outstanding. The **gym is amazing**, while the **spa and hydrotherapy pools are truly sensational** — perfect for relaxing and recharging.
What really sets Nekajui apart, however, is its people. The staff were passionate, professional, warm and exceptionally courteous....

A beautiful stay in Guayacan. Staff very helpful. Grace was our favourite, she spent time teaching our children Spanish and made us feel very welcome every time. We had an issue with the water but this wouldn't put us off staying here again. A unique experience that we really loved. Food was delicious, go half board if you can. The rooms need an extra air con unit on the bunkbeds side, but if you have the unit on all day and shut the curtains it's fine. Don't be put off by the drive up to the...

The view matches the name of the hotel. Beat ifully maintained by Sandra and Florian. Access to the small parking area is up a steep hill. There is a bit more parking on the road. Great breakfast, we preferred the 'Organic'choice - recommended. Small pool perfect for morning swims. We stayed for three nights, exploring the area by car, and had our lunches and dinners en route. This strategy worked well for us as we were not interested in any nightlife.
