Point to note breakfast is not too good but the coffees and pastries were a hit. Also, on check out luggage room avail but no shower facilities other than the one at the pool."

"This is the second Barcelo chain hotel we stayed in Spain and again I fell in love how nice the facility and staff are. Staff are very friendly and accommodate and take care of all your needs. They have room amenities that other hotel in Fuengirola that we stayed in doesnt have. The pool, the gym, the bar, the lounge area and live music is really nice. I will definitely recommend this hotel."

"When I first arrived my room was average in cleanliness. And my extra bedding didn’t smell fresh. The cleaning standard was very poor after the first day. Luckily I kept everything very tidy, but I needed to do that bit extra in cleaning. The rooms need updating. I had asked for a walk in shower well in advance, but that didn’t happen, I had to ask for a non slip bath mat as I felt unsafe, as I struggle to get in and out of a bath. I enjoyed the holiday, I have stayed at the Jabega many times,...

"Needs a bit of a spruce up on the outside and a bit on the inside. Cracked toilet seat, cracked chair on balcony, room door not flush, so room lit up by landing light, too bright. Rooms are small, but comfortable and very clean. Great balcony for evening sitting in the sun. Not enough sunbeds round the pool, given how my any guests there are. Can't bring own drinks, as in sift drinks or food to eat by pool, expected to buy from bar there. Great location"

"The hotel was only opened at the beginning of May 2026 and we stayed here between the seventh and ninth Everything practically brand-new and they are still getting over the initial teething problems, although I they did not have any issues or problems The place is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly. There is Apple Parking but for us the only thing was that the pool which is not heated was too cold to use at this time of year."

"Great location, big room many with sea view, big balconies, basic toiletries, no beach towels provided, decent pool. Very clean, needs a bit of TLC but all working well and great showers. Food is OK but not great. The hotel would be amazing if they improved on the food quality and variety. Would go back again."

"No fridge in room , no water, no minibar and cafe/bar closed . Rooms basic but clean friendly staff. Lift a bit jolty "

"Pluses - Convenient for train and bus stations - 10 mins. Easy to find on beach front. Close to Fuengirola centre. Hotel and rooms seem to have been refreshed since last visit (May last year). Negative - no hand rail in shower, which could make it difficult if you are elderly or infirm as there is nothing to grab hold of when exiting the shower."
