During our stay, we experienced an unacceptable incident: the inside handle on our room door came off, trapping us inside the room around dinner time. We experienced moments of pure panic, so much so that we considered calling the fire department, fearing we wouldn't be able to get out in an emergency....

You have to check in yourself and the code I was provided didn’t work, I also asked if it was possible to check in a bit earlier and that was denied very rudely. Once inside the property is very bare and lacking of any character. Awaiting for you is absolutely nothing, not even a bottle of water.
