"VERY, very basic. I thought the bed was gonna break. There was an outlet right over the headboard that was being pulled so tight that the item plugged into it was pulling it sideways and out of the wall. Looked dangerous. The floor slanted and felt hollow underneath. The towels did not smell clean."

"I rarely leave bad reviews, but my stay at Candlewood Suites Watertown was honestly very disappointing. Carla at the front desk was kind and accommodating, and she was probably the only positive part of the experience. The room smelled terrible, like a closed unused room full of dust and mold. There were spider webs everywhere, flies inside the room, and the living room area smelled very bad, like it had not been cleaned or used properly for a long time. "One of the best places I’ve stayed. Family style and the deco fits riverside vibe perfectly. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They let us check in very early and lent us all kinds of stuff including utensils. The shared area was also very nice, with swing chairs and all. The neighborhood was quiet yet adjacent to the river and the pubs. Recommend this to anyone who wants a pleasant stay!"
