"Upon check in the young man seemed very unpolished and told us we had to put a $100 hold on file which came as a total surprise. Our room smelled like cat urine and the couch was very suspect and made us itch. My advice would be to absolutely remove it. It is apparent the hotel is rebranded and doing rehab which is honorable however they should pay better attention to decor and the weekend food at complimentary breakfast and especially the helper. The trash was overflowing at the coffee station and they had no napkins. When we asked the same young man for napkins who had checked us in he said we don’t have any and walked away. The coffee is harsh and should be looked at for a better quality if possible. We have done many included breakfast and typically all the same type of food but the quality of the bread and bagels were sub par. Several people saved the day like Jackie the breakfast hostess. The man who must have been maintainance I think called Robert. The housekeeping young lady who was very polite on the floor and the nice professional woman at the desk during the week. I wish this hotel much success and hope they work on some of these issues. I may return just to see if any training and upgrades are implemented."
