I am taking one star because I was billed for room charges that were suppose to be covered by the Hilton Honors daily credit as explained by the very nice guy who checked us in. "We truly cannot wait until we have another opportunity to stay here! Staff was exceptional in attentiveness and kindness. Beds were so comfortable. Room was clean and quiet. Location couldn't better for walking, dining, shopping, people watching. Property condition will be even better after all updates to the property are completed. Our only very small request would be to keep the hot tub open beyond 10pm for adults. Even 11pm would have been nice. :)"

"Location, location, location! Can walk to most everything. Modern, clean spacious rooms with very comfortable and soft beds. They are a bit low to the floor but that's fine for me. Excellent soundproofing too. Never hear people in other rooms so you get a good night's sleep. Also like the tree lined streets with lots of birds singing! Many good restaurants nearby. Friendly staff."

"I love 1hotel for their aesthetics. It’s hard to find anything similar. The location is perfect, and there is Whole Foods on the lower level. Management was super helpful, and I appreciate all accommodations that they’ve made for me. However, in terms of service, there is definitely a room for improvement. I couldn’t say that anything spoiled my stay, but if I’ll compare to other 5 star hotels, I would say that I did not like extra daily surcharges for amenities. If I can’t opt out anyway, it...
