"The morning manager was exceptional. I required a 3am check-in and she assisted me promptly over the phone, facilitating an early check-in. Her demeanor was courteous and appreciative towards customers. However, the hotel's policy of not providing small washcloths for washing purposes was a drawback. Although she explained the rationale behind this policy, the alternative offered was extra hand towels, which would suffice."

"Bigger than expected room size"

"Room was clean. Newly updated front desk people were good. Loved having the kitchenette I will definitely book here again. It's about 16 minutes from DC, close to shopping and restaurants. "

"The entire stay was horrible. The place smelled, the rooms were not well maintained and the staff is lazy. I asked for my room to be vacuumed and they dropped it off and here you go. I complained about a bunch of kids running in the hallway and disturbing my sleep knowing I had an early day, the gentleman said they are kids and just getting settled in. I wish I could get my money back. I would never stay there again and I will advise all of my friends traveling to that area not to stay there either."

"The room was way more like an apartment. We were able to spread out and actually eat meats together at the bar. The kitchen makes it easy for you to cook food and save money on going out to eat. It felt like a cozy home away from home rather than just another hotel room. "

"We had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Express Springfield. From the moment we arrived, the staff stood out as incredibly welcoming, polite, and genuinely helpful—they really made us feel at home. A sweet little touch that the kids loved was receiving M&M’s, which made the experience even more memorable for them. The rooms were excellent—super clean, modern, and clearly recently remodeled. Everything felt fresh and well maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The location is another big plus. It’s right next to a mall and surrounded by plenty of coffee shops, grocery stores, and easy highway access, making everything very convenient whether you’re traveling for business or with family. Overall, a great experience all around—comfortable rooms, outstanding service, and an unbeatable location. Would definitely stay here again."
