Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. "We are a family of 6 stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights in Habarana Lodge in July 2026. The property was absolutely fabulous, clean and safe. Staff are extremely helpful, courteous and professional. Our check in was easy, particularly Manike was very helpful. We enjoyed the swiming pool, tree house, butterfly garden, spice garden, clean walkways and lush trees of the property. The most amazing experience was the breakfast and dinner buffet. Chefs Nipun and Buddika are extremely talented, creative professional and attentive. Chefs went out of their way to create sweets and special ice cream selections for our children. Food selection at the buffet was amazing and authentic and delightful. Rooms are clean, spacious and amenities are excellent. We will definitely stay here in our next trip to Sri Lanka."
