Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. "We loved our stay at Cinnamon Lodge and will be back. The hotel setting is lovely - on huge grounds with plenty of wildlife. The pool is great and the breakfast / lunch / dinner is full of choice and good quality. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful but a shoutout goes to Wasantha who made our stay extra special. Would definitely recommend this hotel."
