"We had a beautiful suite with a wonderfully comfortable mattress, and couch. There was a direct and great view of the beach, located in the historic part of the city. the staff was accommodating, and made you feel like family. The included breakfast was acceptable. My one suggestion for improvement would be to have counter space for toiletries and storage space for unpacking your suitcase. Otherwise near perfection."

"Great lodging: clean room;; comfortable bed; fantastic showe; best location in town to base yourself at if you are a solo traveler touring the Bari region or just staying in Polignano. THE TWO LADY OWNERS (mom and daughter) and front desk staff person are wonderful and react immediately to your needs. Been in Italy three weeks and stayed in some nice places but La Perla is the best in terms of value and quality. Plus the place is almost brand new."

"The location is great! Just a short walk from the famous Lama-Monachile beach and one block from the pedestrian area with all the restaurants and shops. It's a lot of fun. In addition, we were welcomed by Georgia who was extremely friendly and helpful. "First of all: great location! New, clean… staff on site very friendly. Some notes: Make sure if you have any advanced question / reserve parking (recommended) etc call the property directly, not the “manager”, that is an anonymous help line, of no use). A few aspects that differ from other B&B: - no coffee/tea maker in the room. - internet was pretty bad (at least in our room), you can get some messages through, but I couldn’t get into vpn, not good enough for doing work. - breakfast not...
