"The property was spotless, location was perfect, walkable to shops, town etc. street parking we had no issues but might be issues during busy season. Took a minute but figured out the heating, clearer directions would have sorted this out. We were a family of 6 and the property was perfect for us. Kitchen very well equipped, washing machine, had fire place as well. The beds were super cozy. We stayed 3 nights was perfect location to explore the local area. "

"This has a lovely view of the harbour and is great if you just want somewhere to make a coffee and use as a base between adventures. Smart TV for the evenings was good so we could pop Netflix on and the leather chair is beautiful to sit in Pillows are SUPER comfortable on the bed and plenty of cushions/blankets if you visit in colder weather. "As a visually impaired single person i was a little worried, but i needn’t have been . Staff were courteous and helpful as soon as i walked in. Very pleased with room, plenty of space bright and airy, shower a little small, however ok, good water flow and hot. Breakfast buffet style, excellent choice, felt comfortable being on my own (very important) . Had excellent stay , will be back , thank-you everyone"

"This was my first visit. It’s a community owned hotel, run by locals who raised a lot of money to take it over and open it up again. They have done a great job. My room was spotless and I told my wife I needed sunglasses on the bedding was so white. A large shower in the en-suite was very welcome after a long day. I had my evening meal there and it was very good,"

"I loved the pool area it was really nice and good to see the pool being cleaned overnight. it would be good if there was a bar of soap provided as it’s tricky having a bath when the squeeze shower gel is high at shower level. The shower was a bit dodgy as it squirted water upwards and bounced off the ceiling but I did report it. The rooms were nice and we had a great fan to keep us cool. nice tea and coffee with decaf too. The only bit that was frustrating was that the people came to collect the dirty washing or something at 6am which was really noisy each morning. The lady on reception was lovely. I didn’t anticipate being asked to pay for parking though which was a bit of a surprise. Breakfast was good with a nice cooked breakfast and yoghurt cereal juice etc. I heard people asking for porridge and someone was offered pancakes so it would have been nice if we had been offered this too."
