This hotel is located just a 5 minute (easy and flat) walk from Mt Hood station, the very first stop on the train from the airport to the city centre (note: they also have a shuttle service). I found the service so convenient that I stayed at this hotel while on a 3-day visit of Portland (the train only takes 30 minutes to Pioneer Square). Staff very friendly, there is a shop by reception with some essentials (soft drinks, beers, wine, snacks, sandwiches, toiletries, aspirin). Good amenities (fridge and microwave), and a free of charge 24x7 coffee machine at reception. The cost/quality ratio of this property is hard to beat, unless you hate the train commute (in which case just Uber it, Portland is not that big anyway).
