"Me and my husband stayed for a night at The Gate Hotel. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Thank you to Hillary Gonzalo for being so nice and making sure that we're please with everything. The room is very clean and the bathroom is updated and very clean as well. Its so sad that it was only for a night coz need to go to Lisbon. Location is great. Highly recommend to my friends and will sure comeback for more time to explore beautiful Porto."

"We enjoyed our stay as the room was great and the location perfect. Good points: Clean rooms , modern features quiet rooms and Great staff.( Diogo especially as his knowledge and passion for helping us was 5 star. Bad points: The shower leaking all over the bathroom floor every time we used it and they had no mop in the hotel which means we had soaking wet towels on the floor to stop us slipping which wasn't ideal but our only option. Would I stay her again? very much so we still loved...

"Just returned from a 3-night stay at this hotel and I genuinely didn’t want to come home! Clean and stylish rooms, the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in, wonderful polite staff who were so helpful and fantastic location right in the heart of Porto. We walked everywhere from here (including over to Gaia and back - yes, uphill!) which was totally fine for us. Plenty of restaurants nearby and also sites to see and places to relax and soak up the atmosphere. One of my favourite hotels I’ve ever...
