"The hotel was well situated and the staff were lovely. However the rooms were small and we had asked for a quiet room when booking and were given a room right over the Main Street on the second floor. We were moved the second night. Each of the two rooms had broken amenities on the room. We also checked the price of the hotel while staying there and it was far less than we had paid on Expedia but that could have been an attempt to fill rooms last minute. The friendly and helpful staff were the highlight."

"Very clean hotel. The welcome drink and pastry along with the parting gift were very nice touches. Receptionists were quite helpful. My only very minor complaint would be that check in was at 3 and I arrived at 2, but I had to wait until 3 to get into my room. Which is understandable considering I was aware check in is at 3, but after 24 hours of travel I was really hoping my room would be ready for me."

"Hotel is great and the location prime. I loved the quiet of my room but felt a little odd where it was… ground floor, back around a corner with the patio opening to no where, some interior 4 wall square. It was certainly quiet and if that’s your thing you should ask for one of these rooms"

"As always we had a fabulous time at Acta the Clover. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Situated within an easy walk from the centre . Breakfast is fantastic. The rooftop bar a welcome extra bonus at the end of day. Our favourite place to stay in Porto"

"Hotel was in a good location, the breakfast was varied and good, the staff was excellent. I had an issue with allergies and the staff quickly provided support and changed our room to one with a wood floor and hypoallergenic bedding. They then checked on me to be sure the remedy was successful. It was very much appreciated and beyond what I expected."
