"Hotel was clean, cute style lobby and rooms. Breakfast was good beds were comfy, but pillows were not good. I would only wish that they gave a complimentary bottled water like Marriott does. Just my preference.There were a couple of good places to eat. Our favorite Captains Quarters was closed Mondays but we found a place right next door Clarks. It was decent food."

"The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Additionally, Santee citizens are also very friendly and welcoming. Everywhere we went people greeted us and were happy to provide information. Hotel staff came up instantly when our TV wasn't working correctly. We loved the carts available to drag our bags and stuff up to our room. We stayed 4 noghts over July 4th. Housekeeping was very busy but also cheerful and helpful. Glad we picked this hotel for our qick getaway!"
