Hotel is really nice, great value for money. Very quiet, very clean and very friendly staff. Perfect location an easy walk to everywhere. Seamless check in. Set in a renovated former mansion with modern rooms it has so much character. I would look nowhere else when returning to Prague.

Beau séjour, comfortable hôtel, literie de qualité. Y avait des travaux sur le bâtiment adjacent dans la cour arrière mais comme on était là à Pâques les travailleurs étaient en congé ;-) On y retournerait sans hésiter!

Fantastic place, plenty of space available, it had everything we needed, it was nice an warm on the cold Christmas temperatures. So close to town so we were able to walk everywhere and save a lot of money on transport. Definitely recomend it and if we ever come back to Prague we would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay, the room 208 was clean, warm and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Some building works to the rear and a bottle filled with cigarette butts/smell stopped us from opening the lovely doors and airing the room but we would return and request a room towards the front next time. Plenty nearby. Fat cat restaurant was great fun.

Check in was easy and straightforward. My room was clean and spacious. Lots of space for my bag and clothes. There’s cutlery and a laundry service and a fridge. Location was also great, although there was construction when i was there, it wasn’t much of a problem. It is uphill though, good to consider. But overall great stay. Definitely recommend.

Check in was easy (done it online) and room cards were ready for us arriving - we were able to go into room an hour early which was great. Spacious minimalistic decorated apartment with well equipped kitchen (wish an oven was available) like electric stove, microwave, fridge and cutlery/utensils. Only complaint is that I wish there were more than one drying cloth, sponge and maybe an antibacterial spray for the counter and even some sort of washing powder for the washing machine. Washing machine and dishwater was also in the apartment which was handy. Location was excellent - 6 minutes walk from the Muzeum station but everything was within walking distance and old town square is only 30 minutes walk. There was a lot of noise especially at night time but they provide you with ear plugs. I did struggle to sleep at night as it got pretty stuffy/hot. There’s AC but it didn’t work… Cleanliness of the room was good - few parts of the room that could’ve been cleaner but nothing drastic. It was slightly dusty, hair on ground or some cutlery were dirty (we clean cutlery before using anyway). Staff were lovely and happy to help with any enquiries you have. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely come back to stay here if I’m ever back in Prague :)

I had a pleasant stay at Karl in Prague. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered good value for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out easy. The location was convenient, with good public transport connections that made it simple to reach Prague's main attractions. The room was spacious, quiet, and well maintained, providing a comfortable place to relax after a day of siteseeing. If you're planning to stay here, I recommend using public transportation or walking to explore the city, as Prague's historic center is best enjoyed on foot. Overall, Karl Hotel is a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, affordable stay with good service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our apartment-room on the 3rd floor. We overlooked the street side but this is a very quiet street and had no noise problem from it. The location of the street is very conducive to walking into Old Town or walking to trams that take you all over. We discovered that people over 65 ride the transportation system free with their ID cards. When you walk straight down the street you are on the main street, where just a couple of blocks straight up is the magnificent building of the Czech National History Museum. If you go be sure to see the exhibit on the Fin whale on the 3rd floor and go up an additional level to where you can climb circular stairs to the cupola and have 360 degree views. Back to the apartment-- the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful with all my questions. The cleaners made the room like new every 3rd day. If we needed coffee or creamers in between cleaning time it was easy to ask at reception. The reception hours were longer than noted on the listing and even on the door! We appreciated that. There were choices of foods for eating out. We particularly recommend Mouka where we had brunch a couple of times. When we wanted to stock some breakfast/bakery items or picnic supplies it was much more price effective to go to a local Albert grocery store or Tasco or Lidl. Those are scattered throughout the city. We stayed here 8 nights and would be glad to do it again if we were in Prague.

Perfect stay!

Perfect apartment with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Spacious, beautiful, super clean and very comfortable. Convenient location, in walking distance to the historic center, close to the metro, shops, restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. Friendly staff. It was nice to find bottled water, treats and pods for our coffee when we arrived. The only thing we missed was a rail clothes airer to dry our washed clothes. We loved the apartment, will stay again if back in the city and totally recommend it!
