"Excellent location, very helpful and professional staff. The room was clean and has everything you need for a short stay. The bar downstairs' is a bonus. Will recommend to everyone who is visiting Sydney. "

"Staff went out of their way to help me with my bags, the room was really lovely and had a balcony with a wonderful view of the beach. Location was amazing. Be aware that it is a venue for live music, the Sunday night I stayed the band was playing downstairs until about 11pm. Would absolutely stay here again!!"

"Everything was very clean and the towels and linen were excellent. Bull the wall heating unit didn’t work, and I could see others have tried to switch it on manually using a coat hanger or umbrella, as there are black marks on the power button. Some of the blinds appear to have mould on them. I didn’t get a reply when I asked online if I could leave my luggage before check-in."

"Great location. Great property. The only thing thats missing is probably bottled water. Tap water is drinkable but will be good to at least have complimentary 2 bottles a day. There is a main supermarket across the street so it was no problem at all. Aircon not the strongest at times but we managed. "

"The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. "

"Full suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen (yes, the espresso machine with the capsules is there), washing machine and dryer, a huge living room and a roofed balcony (with an ashtray!). Separate store room for suitcases, large enough storing space in the rooms (wardrobes)"

"Room was clean. Shower water pressure low. Only hotel I have ever been in locally that does not have free to air tv. Overall stay was very good."

"Room was very small,not the impression that was given on the internet. Shower room was very small. Loose tap on sink. Bedroom was very small It did have an iron and "table " ironing board but I had to use the floor. Did have a hairdryer. Advert said it had breakfast but no, only had a small communal kitchen. Staff were very helpful Very well located for tram,bus and high street. Very close to Cooggee beach Easy transport to Sydney."
