"It is like stepping back in time 50 years ago. The family's favourite holiday hotel where one can still get personal attention and excellent service. We have had excellent meals at the lodge. The best grilled fish dish ever and the home made muesli at breakfast was so good. Although the service and value was like in the "old days" the furniture and fittings were new. "We are a family of four who had an 8 night stay at the Krystal Beach Hotel which we consider to be a five star rating (for a four star hotel). Excellent location with fantastic views over Gordon's Bay. Many great aspects to the hotel to support the five star rating including: the family room was very spacious for the four of us, comfortable bedding for excellent nights sleep, daily cleaning/maid service, friendly staff, healthy and filling daily breakfast, good range of meals and drink at competitive prices prices served in the restaurant, access to a gym and many other positive aspects"
