Positano has stairs everywhere, so pack light, but aside from that these villas are very special and if you are looking for a LUXURY resort style feel without paying the insane resort prices in Positano. This should be your first choice. Comfortable room for 3 people beautiful courtyard and accommodation and an absolutely INCREDIBLE view. And most of all affordable. "Located away from Amalfi so that you can experience the 'real' Italian culture. Hosts were amazing - were given fresh figs and lemon profiteroles left over from a local wedding in the church next to the property. Great views of Amalfi and excellent outdoor spaces for relaxing in the evening. You do need to be physically fit as there are lots and lots of stairs - 300 down to the local village. You can arrange for the local donkeys to carry your luggage to the villa which is needed! "

"Great location. Great de or and feel. The AC tripped a breaker. The second upstairs shower did. Not drain correctly. The main bathroom toilet has problems with the small flush. The downstatbathroom would not stop flushing unless you played around with the buttons. Mattress was a bit too firm. Otherwise great place to stay. "
