The reception staff don’t let you leave or give your deposit back until they have physically checked the rooms, which is purely because the place is swarming with drug users. The BEDDING is heavily stained, the carpets are stained the whole thing should be advertised as a halfway house. This is not a hotel, yes it’s cheap, but it’s not even acceptable to sleep in during a cross country...

"Note the hotel is surrounded by bars open until 4am and 6am and if your room is facing out on to the main road you might be in for a very sleepless night. The hotel have very little empathy, just along the lines of what do you expect, its in a city centre hotel,.thats the general attitude. Also outright lied and said they offered an alternative room which when i asked at reception was actually told an outtright "no we are fully booked but there are earplugs provided in your room". Such a shame...

"We stayed on one of the warmest nights this year. A fan had been put in our room earlier on to ensure it was lovely and cool. The room was a good size. It was clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed. Parking is a plus. Good food in the pub too."
