The room was amazing, loved that there were separate rooms as well as living space and a small kitchen. The place was clean and generally well taken care of, really the only knock was that the shower heads were problems. One wasn't properly fastened to the wall so it would spin around and soak the bath room. The other shower head was just broken so water shot out in ways it wasn't. LOVED the pools for the kids and the proximity to the beach and to the shops on the main street.

Hi, I just stayed at Lifestyle Cabarete, at first booking i knew it was not an all inclusive hotel. Well aware of that. However I must of missed the fine print about not cleaning the room or that being an extra fee, towels cost $5 for a replacement, that was new to me. However when I called the reception, they said I would have to go down to pay the $5 before I receive the change. I thought that was so strange, then the air conditioner had a malfunction and drenched the room floor. The issue was fixed. Then a group of three maintenance BARGED in my room like FBI and closed the door right away because they DIDNT knock and had the WRONG room! My issue is wrong room or not! YOU KNOCK on a door before entering. Let alone a hotel room where you think you are safe! Oh yeah my bad for not putting the lock! It’s 3 pm we was waiting for the rain to pass to go back outside! And nearly caught a HEART ATTACK! One more thing bathroom door is a sliding door of wood, terrible to open and close, always got stuck! Which led to no privacy. Besides all of that the location is perfect 👌 the pools are great! The beach location was perfect and the food all around is fantastic!

This was a great place to stay for a few days in Cabarete. We could walk to a number of restaurants, shops, grocery stores (we did room only). There is not much of a sand area on the beach right in front of the hotel if you want to relax on the actual beach. Room was comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here in the future.

My overall view was very good could be a solid 4* however the sewer system is a major problem here. The fact that you cannot flush paper and in some cases a large bowl movement down is unsanitary, this I anm sure cost this resort repeat business every year. The area and location are top notch. The resort is excellent overall the staff were excellent especially Juan and Leury in reception. The pools were clean the room staff were meticulous and accommodating. There rooms size was very good but the kitchen could use a more practical group of cooking utensils no need for 4 frying pans and only 1 medium sized pot no strainer knifes were not as sharpe as they could be a large salad bowl would have been nice also.
These two were outstanding always friendly and willing to help with taxi things to see and restaurant and banking information .

Resort needs some repairs to be 4*+ Good reception especially with Juan. Also toilets need to be more functional allowing use of toilet paper to be flushed putting it in waste basket isn’t sanitary. Mattress on pull out couch needs to be changed, also linen for the couch should be available in room. Shower isn’t functional to high and therefor sprays out of shower area. Chairs on balcony could be more comfortable.

Stayed in the section behind the main road, not the beach side because that one is reserved to hotel members. I got invited to the presentation the second day we got there and I declined, the guy did not insist too much which was good. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: -Helpful and courteous staff, excellent service. -Soundproof room (stayed in room 4302), contrary to what some people report, I assume they stayed in the building directly on the main street. Cons: -The hotel is on the main road and it is VERY BUSY, so if you're there to relax 10% of the time forget about it, you won't be able to relax at all, even when on the pool inside, or on the beach side, the sound from the exhausts of trucks, cars, and motorcycle is horrible. They have placed Speed bumps on the street to slow down traffic for security, but that causes very loud exhaust sound on deceleration and acceleration. -NO BEACH. You will have access to the beach, everyone does, but this hotel has no beach whatsoever, no proper access to the beach, you have to go down a rocky path to get to the beach, and you need to find a solution to sit on the beach to enjoy it, they have no loungers. Forget the beach feature for this one. -Pools surface is always dirty, I dont know how they designed these pools, they look very nice and they vacuum every morning, but surface dirt stays, no grating or skimmer filtration.

It was new and very clean. It looked very nice. It was not good for someone who has trouble walking. Everything was far. And because it's right on the main Street, it's very loud all night long from trucks and construction and very difficult to sleep.

Room was okay. Right on busy road so it can be loud but didn’t bother us too much. Staff was very kind, but don’t accept their free lunch for a “tour” they sat us down to get us to sign up for their membership and we had no intention of doing such. I understand it’s their job, and it’s okay but they tricked us. Other than that, location was a good walking distance to everything. Don’t use their ATM, take a short walk to the bank to avoid unnecessary fees. They also make you keep a wristband on all week which wasn’t very enjoyable but you get used to it.

The rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Draw back is rooms are on a busy road so you here street noise. Also be prepared to have to listen to sales pitch on buying vacation club.

the condo was spotless, big size for 4 people. comfortable sofa , i used it for the whole 11 nights with no problem. nice balcony over looking the pools. very convenient location across from the water and just few minutes walking to numerous restaurants. we did not any transport.

Loved everything about the hotel, the staff was so nice and helpful they helped me get taxis and find places to shop. The room was nice and clean which was amazing because it rained a lot my time there so I tracked in mud and sand but the cleaners helped out so much.

Really nice for the price. Super economical. They have too many rules at the front desk….bracelet and towels and extra charges for clean towels ect but it’s ok for the price. The service at breakfast is very good and the hospitality around the hotel too. Front desk could be more cheerful!

Room and all was fine we only stayed one night and the next morning we got offored free breakfast. The catch is you have to take a “tour” of the resort where they try to sell you a lifestyle membership. Do not take the “free” breakfast.
