Resort is too small for adult only reservations for booking a family dinner. Buffet could use more food dishes as the options were not there. Entering the pool was difficult to enter (older group). Steps only part way in to the pool then drops off. Ladder on opposite side was the only way you could get into the pool safetly. A lot of elderly people were noticeably struggling to get in and out. Room and resort was clean and staff was great and friendly.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend as I usually stay in the area but my hotel didn’t have availability for my full trip. Boy am I glad I only stayed here 2 nights. Overall great location and nice smaller property. Rooms were nice and clean and modern but my patio had zero view and at least once while I was in my room maintenance walked through it to water plants. Room was just off the main lobby area and was extremely noisy all hours of the day and night. Despite signs saying silence please I was woken up multiple times during the night from music and absolutely obnoxious people. Bell boys were rude and indifferent, couldn’t seem to care less even when tipping them. Front desk staff was lovely and efficient. Pool waiters were hit and miss. Disappeared for a long time, and then offered people nearby drinks but didn’t come to you, again even when tipping. Often had to go and get my own drink. Chairs at the pool were limited, people occupied chairs but didn’t come back for hours despite hotel saying they remove after 15 minutes, they absolutely did nothing. Went to sit by the beach but then get bothered by the beach vendors and even less frequent service. Bartenders got my drinks wrong at least 3 times, Giving me something I didn’t order. Pool bathrooms were disgusting. Soaking wet, smelly and toilets unflushed. Buffet service was excellent but the food not so much. Lots of repetition and quality below average. The staff here is amazing! Courteous, attentive and super friendly. The hotel is probably the cleanest we've ever seen, and our room was immaculate everyday when we returned from our outings. Room was spacious and comfortable. Food was lovely and great selection for all appetites. We would definitely return. Kind thanks to all of the staff for great service and enjoyable stay.

Staff were very professional and kind through out our stay. Food was generally good with always many options. Bartenders were able to fulfill any drink order and frequently came around when sitting at the beach or the pool. Our room and the hotel were clean and modern. There were usually ample seats around the pool and beach, but it was a little discouraging when guests saved their seats and left them for quite a while. Fiesta night was very enjoyable with the special entertainment.

The resort was great from what we could tell from only a two night stay. Food and drinks from the limited time was good. One dinner buffet was good, breakfast buffet was good, breakfast a la carte restaraunt was also good. We did not eat at the other two restaraunts for dinner. They REQUIRE reservations and the times are fixed which I was not happy about. 630 and 830 are the slots like a cruise ship, which is obsurd, especially the 830 one. Pool system was nice, lounge chairs on the beach are also nice. Staff all great. Our #1 complaint was the room and its a big one. A/C is not very good and we do not like cold rooms. Thermostat set all the way down at 68 and it was 74-75 degrees all day long and into the evening. The air movement in the room was very poor and we can't understand why no ceilng fans for vaulted ceilings. That would help immensely. Maintenance said it was working fine. We were on the fourth floor so maybe that didn't help. Also the balcony light stayed on all night long and the blackout curtains would not block the very bright light out. Annoying to have all the resort balcony lights on 24 hours a day. We liked the resort and we will come back but will try a different room. Im concerned if it was clear for 5 days in a row the room would be between 73-78 degrees, with no decent air movement and you cant sleep with the door open at night because the light is so BRIGHT! Liked the resort and ammenities but question the room a little.

The room I had was very noisy and impossible to sleep. When confronting the staff about this issue, their front desk staff and manager lied and refused to offer a reasonable way to mitigate the issue.

The room a/c was insufficient as I baked under the sheets. The buffet food was not a lot of options really, repeating the same food each day. The only positive was the location of the hotel, and decent beach access to the ocean.

The staff was great. I liked that the front desk would offer change for large bills for tipping. Rooms were very clean but the beds were pretty stiff and the pillows were terrible. Options for alcohol were excellent; they had Malibu, captain Morgan’s and many others. The beach had plenty of seating; however, the people on the beach were constantly trying to sell you something. The same people would interrupt you every 5 minutes, every single day. Even while eating dinner at the restaurant on the beach, they would interrupt you to try and sell you items. There was a red flag up on the beach for our entire stay as well (even when the water was calm), so while they say that they have kayaks and other water equipment - you can never use them. Friends of ours have stayed here many times and said there has never been a green flag, it is typically always red. The food was mediocre at best, with very limited variety. We were served cold ribs in one restaurant. The buffet… this was a whole other ordeal. My boyfriend couldn’t go into the restaurant with a tank top on, breakfast, lunch or dinner. It appeared as though the staff chose who was okay and who wasn’t. The one morning they turned my boyfriend away for having a tank top on and let a woman walk in to eat in her bikini. He asked why this was okay and they ignored him. I overheard an elderly gentleman, probably 80 years old, say that he experienced the same thing. For the price we paid, sadly, we will not be returning.
