Framed by snow-capped Osorno Volcano, this German-influenced lakeside town offers kayaking and sailing on pristine Lake Llanquihue. Taste local craft beers at waterfront breweries before taking day trips to nearby Petrohué Falls in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park.
Absolutely stunning lodge overlooking the lake. The location on Expedia is incorrect and you actually need to be met and transferred over by boat.
Once at the lodge, you've got lots of activities to book (horseback, fishing, hiking, etc) and a Michelin-level dinner to enjoy.
The cabins are cosy and offer a perfect escape into the wild.
Only note: the double room windows overlook the path to the other cabins, so it's not super private.

Very nice place beautifully situated between the two volcanoes. Convenient access to the falls and to Osorno. The staff is extremely helpful, helping me fix my tyre pressure and clean off some dirt from my luggage.
The rooms are bright and clean.
Only note: the walls ARE thin. So if you are a light sleeper, you may need earplugs just in case.

As much as a living museum as a guest house. Lovingly restored and maintained by its owner this is a highly recommended choice for a stay. Safe and quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

We stayed at the Cabaña del Lago for a week. Arriving at the hotel we were greeted by friendly and efficient staff who assigned a room in the cabañas next to the hotel. The views of the lake are fantastic and a great place to unwind. The overall service was second to none. All the staff are friendly. The breakfasts were great. The hotel is a 7 minute walk to town which has great resturants. Plenty of places to explore in this locality. I would recommend this hotel with hesitation.

The owner was very nice. He allowed us to check in early at 8am and gave us some snacks/cereal bar which was very helpful for us to go hiking.
The room was nice and clean with an amazing view of the volcano. Shower was hot enough with good water pressure. Location is superb.
Would definitely recommend.

Great stay in the middle of the forest. We stayed on a cabin the first night and in a dome the second night and really enjoyed it. The accomodation was clean, quiet and overall great to relax and connect with natute. The hotel prepared for us a tinaja-grrat experimve taking bath under the stars. We also enjoyed massage that is available by request.

Stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. We stayed in room 312 which gave us a sidewards view of the lake as well. Everything was clean. The heating could be adjusted, the was a fridge, a safe and a TV. The bed was very comfortable, we slept very well. The breakfast was very nice, just like on the pictures. You can also get eggs made fresh for you. We could park our car for free and pay the hotel bill in USD with credit card. There is several places within short walking distance from the...

Long walk from town centre. Converted & extended large bungalow. Our accommodation was in wooden outbuildings. bathroom fully functional, but not best executed.
Host Juan was very accommodating and helpful with local information, however may have been a little intrusive.
Our room room was in one of the wooden outhouses, where the owners have maximised the available space, possibly to the detriment of the guests. The room was outside the main building. It was adequate, but compact. The bathroom...
