The Last Resort

"The renovations were done very well. Fresh paint, new showers and bathrooms. We stayed four nights and were very happy. The beds were on the soft side and plush, which was a huge plus for me. I know some folks like firmer beds...so keep that in mind. Plenty of hard bed motels out there. The sheets and quilt were high quality and very nice. Everything was super clean. They did not provide shampoos or hair care stuff, but that is fine. The shower was hot and excellent...rain shower head too. Nice towels. The AC and heaters worked well, as well as a nice ceiling fan. There was Ice available, and parking in front of your door. The location close to center of town was great. The TV was new and had many apps and channels....bring your passwords to get into your accounts, or you will not be able to access some of them, and or you will have a lot of commercials. We will absolutely stay here again. The bait shop was a hoot, even though we were not focused on fishing, as many customers seemed to be, I did buy a few lures...haha."

"We stayed in one of their king suites. It was nice having the small kitchen and the sleeping quarters and restroom were in a separate room. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good but the dining area was very small. Even though we didn’t get time to enjoy the pool it was clean and comfortable area. But the best experience was with the staff. A big shout out to Stephanie, Larry and Jason and all the support staff for making our stay very enjoyable."

"The property is older, but the spacious room was unexpected. It had 2 queen beds, a table and 2 chairs, plus 2 comfy chairs for watching TV, and a dresser. It appeared a lot of construction workers stay here. It was quiet and I’ve never ran across a more friendly and helpful management staff in all my travels. The beds were comfy and the linens clean. The tub could have been cleaner and the place needed a total update, but I realize this young couple are probably doing all they can with what they have. I wouldn’t be opposed to staying here again."
