"Excellent B&B with beautiful grounds and historic home with well appointed rooms. Breakfast (included) was a lovely way to start the day. Hosts were that perfect blend of unobtrusive accessibility- you felt welcomed but your privacy was well guarded. Terrific location as gateway to Normandy attractions, especially military (we stayed during 80th anniversary of D-Day/Operation Overlord). "

"Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Pedro and Phillipe were wonderful hosts. The room was spotlessly clean. We were greeted with a very warm greeting and as we settled in to our room Pedro was playing the piano.....wonderful. Breakfast was all home made, plentiful and very tasty (I especially recommend the homemade jams). We did’nt use the pool but did see it and it was clean and looked welcoming. "We have thought hard about this review because the people that run the hotel are very nice people who are very welcoming. Despite the language barrier Ginette was great and spoke better English than we did French. However, the issues were with the room itself. When we entered the room it actually looked great with the bedroom being separate and up one flight of stairs but there was a damp musty smell that we thought may have just been from being closed. "Rural location - perfect for visiting the beautiful gardens of Normandy. Not a hotel but more a farm being renovated as a super "B&B" (5 bedrooms). Francoise and Christophe are delightful hosts. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were welcome to use the extensive gardens and swimming pool, and visit the horses down by the river and pond.
