"I just wrapped up a 10 visit to Shanghai, and spent my entire time at the Conrad Hilton property. I was pleased with the very central location in the city of the hotel, and from my 39th floor room I was more than happy with the sweeping city views, looking directly down on the green oasis of the People's Park. The elevator situation was a bit confusing to begin with (due to the unusual shape of the building), but that was soon sorted and I moved freely between the propertys facilities. The 10th floor pool provided sweet views of the surrounding neighborhood and the gym was good sized and open 24 hours a day, something I made frequent use of. My king suite was super comfortable and well appointed and I especially appreciated the city view desk and more than ample closet space- a must as I travel for many months per year. As for the staff I would like to take a moment to acknowledge and show my appreciation to the following folks- a huge thank you to (French national) Hugo in guest relations who helped me out in many ways and made the hotel feel like a home over my week+ stay, to (Thai national) Thena whose cheerful demeanor and daily greetings cheered me up immensely and (Chinese national) Rosemary the ever evervesant 'elevator lady' who guided guests and was a genuine hostess for the hotel and a bright personality who made many of the guests smile and happy as they descended to the lobby to begin their day- I thank you most sincerely, you made my visit a memorable one.."

"I stayed at this hotel a few days last week, traveled up to Beijing and came back to stay here one more night. The service at this property is excellent. The front desk staff are friendly and personable, especially the two women who work overnight. I loved the rooms (I stayed in two different ones). They are modern, clean and spacious. If you order takeout, a robot will bring the food to your room! There is free laundry and you can keep an eye on the machines from your in-room television. The location is good, just a few minutes walk from Yu Garden and within steps of a 7-11 and Family mart. Highly recommend!"

"Long past its prime, this hotel is in need of renovation and updating. The lack of in-room climate control was especially bothersome. Some of the staff were incredibly professional and helpful, others seemed absolutely bothered. We left after our first night and had bites to our exposed skin for the rest of our time in Shanghai, which we believe must have come from the hotel. Location is ok but not nearly as convenient as others on Nanjing Road or the the Bun. "

"Second stay at this property within 2 weeks. Fantastic location in Jing’An. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Shanghai. Both visits, the lovely staff have organised an early check in, and have been so helpful. The location is great for public transport, or for walking to local restaurants and bars. Also the Jade Buddah temple is only a 3/4 minute walk from the hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!"

"The hotel is in super convenient location which is either to Yu Garden or bund . Staffs are very nice and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Free first round of minibar is enjoyable and free three photos for the cheongsam photo experience is also pretty cool. foods for breakfast are variety . I had a wonderful time to stay in this hotel for five days. Will recommend to my friends."
