Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort

Pongwe

10/10 Excellent

Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort.. UNIQUE being the operative word. This resort is by far one of a kind and it completely exceeded mine and my partners expectations. We would definitely visit again, and again and AGAIN, hopefully annually. The staff deserve a 10/10 on their consistently outstanding customer service throughout our entire stay literally everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, the food is amazing, the alcohol is amazing and the beach and VIEWS ! Are breath taking. It is an...

LUX Marijani Zanzibar

Pwani Mchangani

10/10 Excellent

From the moment we stepped into Lux* Hotel Zanzibar, we knew we were in for an extraordinary experience. The hotel itself is breathtaking, but what truly sets it apart is the staff—easily the friendliest I’ve ever encountered in my life. A heartfelt thank you to Pina, who welcomed us with such warmth and grace. Her attention to detail and personal touches made our stay feel incredibly special. Pina’s genuine care and energy elevated our entire experience, and it’s safe to say she’s the heart of...

Zanzi Resort

Kama

10/10 Excellent

Wonderful relaxing resort set in beautiful gardens. Very welcoming friendly staff. Excellent food with much variety. Once a week there is a fantastic barbecue served along with a local band playing for everyone to learn some local dances. The bungalows are very most comfortable and very private. There is a wonderful jetty at the beach where you can sit and watch the sunset. Private dining is also available at the jetty or beach. Lovely hotel for couples especially honeymooners.

Pongwe Beach Hotel

Pongwe

10/10 Excellent

Loved everything about this Hotel. Staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a beach front double room which was absolutely beautiful. Tours to Stonetown and Spice Tour ( and others) can be booked from Hotel. Meals were amazing. Looked forward to the evening visit around 6pm of the Bush Babies and fed them bananas. The green flag idea was wonderful - as were the cocktails!

The Island - Pongwe Lodge - Adults Only

Pongwe

10/10 Excellent

We visited The Island at Pongwe as the final stop on our honeymoon to Tanzania and Zanzibar and it was the perfect way to conclude an incredible trip. Set on a coral island just off of Zanzibar, the Island Pongwe is run by the amzaing Michela and her team. The island feels like pure rustic luxury and prides itself on being as sustainable as possible - they source food and materials locally. The service was amazing and we were greeted by the team who showed us to the Villa - a room with an...
