"The hotel is fairly basic, the rooms look a bit dated, there was a crack in my bath surround and some staining on the ceiling, but I believe the rooms are due for refurbishment shortly, so this is likely to improve. The parking is just over the road, and is free for as long as you're staying (you can come and go without registering again apparently). The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is a touristy area, so base your expectations on that. The real stand-out was the staff, they are welcoming and clearly enjoy their jobs, and are a perfect example of Welsh hospitality. This is a good hotel as a base to explore Eryri"

"Hotel in brilliant position we had everything we needed. Atrium for breakfast with views of the whole of Llanberis was stunning. Breakfast very fresh and varied. Our only complaint would be evening meal did not come up to expectations. Advertised as served with salad. A flat bread with minute bits of salad. A disappointment.. Quite pricey. "The property was advertised as being located in Llanberis. But there's no property at the location shown by Expedia. The actual property is located 11 miles apart. Don't fall for this scam. The propert management says they don't know about any change, Expedia support team confirmed there's a mismatch with location advertised. This was a expensive mistake for us. "
