This was our second stay and while the hotel and location are beautiful, there are some aspects which aren't fantastic. The price of food and drinks at the hotel restaurants and bars are extortionate. As a result, we tend to go into the neighbouring town for meals.
We also found the room cleaning to be quite poor. Some dirty plates were left in our room for days. Also, towels were changed even when we hung them up (to try to be more eco responsible). Although toiletries are provided, my daughter was told she could not have another bottle of mouthwash during our stay by one of the people cleaning the room. We were staying for 10 nights (2 rooms) and were provided with a tiny bottle each. There is a meanness about what is provided, particularly given the hotel price.
