"I was really taken back by the size of the room (extremely small) but it was clean. The bed however was sunken in in the middle. The toilet roll holder was not fixed and fell off. I had to re-attached it. I locked the bathroom door when I had a shower and really panicked when I couldn't unlock it which wasn't pleasant. The walls are paper thin and I could hear everything eg others walking or using the bathroom. For the cost I thought it was very expensive. "

"The Ulsterville Residences was an amazing stay. The apartment is clean, well stocked with basic spices and oils and all the kitchen accessories you will need. There is a clothes washer which was a luxury for a trip full of hotel stays and laundry detergent. The owners really make you feel like a family member."

"listing hadn't made clear this is student accommodation opened up outside term time. That being said, fairly neat modern rooms. Very secure, need a keycard to get in each corridor, let alone the room. In fact main entrance doesn't open up unless let in by someone at reception (which isn't always fully staffed so might have a moment or two waiting).
For the price and central location, really it's fine, just that it's missing some basic amenities you expect from hotels like basic toiletries...

"Great overall experience, the employees were accommodating and professional, and the breakfast was well worth it, our only issue with our room (#16 on the top floor) was significantly warmer than the rest of the hotel and all we had was a little fan that barely had an impact for cooling. If you want a cooler room don’t go with room #16."

"Loved the nice room but walls are paper thin and if you are a light sleeper it would be terrible. Extremely clean and we enjoyed our stay. Laundry was difficult to access because we had to call where it is self check in . Should have had instructions in the room … "

"Completely self service so staff is n/a. Room was clean except for dust on upper shelf. Towels were small and thin and mine had a large hole in it. Bed is a firm camping style mattress. Electric kettle provided but I had to keep it on the floor because the cord was too short to reach the outlet. The instant coffee and tea is very nice.
In theory there’s internet but even when my phone showed a strong WiFi connection, I had no luck actually getting it to work and relied on cellular. Provided...
