"Friendly staff and a nice overall atmosphere. The service was welcoming and made the stay pleasant. However, the shower was very dirty, which was disappointing and took away from the experience. With better attention to cleanliness, this place could be much better. I also wish we had been informed ahead of time about the construction at the beach, as we weren’t able to enjoy it on Saturday and Sunday because of the work being done."

"We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. It was always stocked and fresh. The staff was very helpful when we needed them. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the beach access and chair rental, as well as the pool area. This was one of our favorite vacations ever!"

"First, this is more of a motel than a hotel as the rooms open to the outside. It also advertises a "private beach" but it is a very small area with a few chairs that leads to the bay (not the ocean). The actual beach is a several minute walk across a busy street. While they provide bikes, and surf boards, there are very few other ammenities. However, we thought the rooms were clean and maintenence was responsive to an issue we had. "Early check in was very convenient for us. They are very pet friendly the staff gave us a do not disturb tag that informed their staff of pets inside the room. Also they had a cute goodie bag for my pup. My kids absolutely loved it here. Will definitely recommend. Also , deposit collected during checkin , when I checked out was instantly given back to me"

"Nicely renovated room! Thankfully it didn't smell as bad as the front office. I was worried during check in that the room would be smelly too but it wasn't! Bed was comfortable, room was clean and staff was nice and respectful! Had trouble with getting hot water for a shower due to the neighbors showering at the same time. Overall I would recommend and would definitely stay there again!"

"Room was nice and clean and hotel was perfect walking distance to our show at the bay center. We are at the restaurant and ordered a burger, kids chicken and macaroni and the appetizer dumplings. The dumplings were good, everything else was pretty bad. I would suggest eating somewhere else if you want more than just a drink."

"This is a converted church which means the rooms are not standardized and your experience might depend on which room you are assigned. The hotel has good beds and linens, but small rooms ( or some are at least) a very poor, loud, AC system, poor cleaning, very poor sound proofing of rooms. It really depends on the price point you pay. These rooms can be as much as $400. They are worth 1/2 that amount. If you are paying at that 1/2 rate, then maybe an OK proposition. For example in...
