"We are repeat guests at the Brickhouse and understand it has changed ownership since our last visit to Gettysburg. The format of this BnB has also changed and guests are largely left alone during their stay as there is little interaction with staff. Guests are expected to follow emailed instructions sent prior to arrival and find their room with keys hanging in their room. To us, this strays from the typical experience one might expect when staying at a bed and breakfast. As for breakfast, we feel they should abandon the “grab and go” and just price in the full breakfast. We understand it’s more work—but that’s what separates a BnB from a complimentary breakfast with limited choices at a hotel. The room was clean and overall our experience was good regarding our stay—we just feel there’s room for making it a better experience and more personable for guests."

"We have stayed here several times and alwys find the rooms to be clean and the beds comfortable. It is quiet, so we alwys get a good uninterrupted nights sleep. The breakfast is comprehensive,having lots of variety and all the food groups you need to start a busy day! The staff, both at the front desk and the breakfast room, are approachable and friendly."

"This is such a peaceful stay. The property is well kept, beautiful and private. The lodges are so nice and comfy. Only complaint is parking. Not enough for everyone to get a space in front of the lodge they are staying in. The person staying in a lodge by us parked right in the middle of the spaces leaving no room for anyone else! We had to park in overflow and walk to the lodge we were staying in. VERY INCONVENIENT."
