We were greeted by front desk Gabriel T. who was incredibly friendly and accommodating - he provided useful information about the property, transport & dining options in the historic plaza, as well as tour options. The dining staff were also very courteous, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this property again

This place was absolutely amazing.. I would highly recommend this place to anybody, especially if you’re a traveler with unique taste and don’t like staying in cookie cutter hotels…. This place has all the touches of any five star hotel… and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Staff was super professional and always willing to help with any situation and or resolution.. whoever owns this hotel is truly a gem.

This is my 2nd time coming to this hotel in less than a year. The staff was amazing. A special thanks to Charlie, Jennifer and Chris. This hotel is super clean, the breakfast is amazing, the beds super comfortable and the sigh seeing at the roof is breathe taking. Coming back next year

Really beautiful old building in old part of the city with a thrilling location and amazing views. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with all sorts of logistics. Graciously accommodated our late arrival and early departure. Breakfast was fantastic. We had a great stay and can’t recommend this hotel enough.

My family and I have done a great deal of traveling and we all agreed Vista del Angel is one of the most beautiful hotels/ restaurants we’ve ever been to. The view of the skyline is superb and the decor and design of the hotel is equally exceptional. The staff was genuinely warm and kind and the restaurant was utterly delicious — a real treat! Our favorites: asparagus crème soup, mini empanadas, beef tenderloin, blueberry & pistachio salad. My highest recommendation!

The staff was superb, so friendly and great service. The food at the restaurant is also delicious!
Beautiful hotel, great location in colonial Quito. Just be ready to get your heart rate up walking back during the day. Wouldn’t recommend walking around at night.
The complimentary breakfast was an absolute treat, so delicious!

Vista del Angel is a small but excellent hotel a few kilometers north and up from the downtown area. It is an excellent area to overlook the city, mountains and angel. It is walking distance from downtown and easy to get to because it is a steep downhill climb. However, walking back up to the hotel is exceptionally more difficult. The parking is free although it is very limited. The entire hotel is exceptional in cleanliness. The entire staff is excellent. The breakfast was the highest quality I ate during my entire vacation. It had the freshest fruits and wonderful juices.

If You want to stay in a quite and true boutique hotel, this is your place, lovely staff in a friendly location with an amazing views. Walkable to the Basílica and 10 min away from downtown and Panecillo.
