"I picked this hotel strictly for the experience of staying right by the scramble. For the location this hotel can’t be beat, and if you’re lucky enough to have a room right above the scramble that’s even better. I didn’t, but just being able to view it from the elevator is nice. It’s a little hard to find from the street, which was frustrating when you’re trying to navigate the crowds and luggage at the same time. But once you know it’s a lot easier. Plus the hotel was nice enough to hold your luggage if you leave Tokyo for a few days, and return to the hotel for additional stays. Staff were friendly and professional. Coin laundry was adequate, just remember that the dryer takes a lot longer than you think."

"This hotel had everything. Eady check in, friendly staff, a selection of great restaurants, a couple of convenient stores, nearby access to underground tunnel all the way to the shinjuku station."

"Very friendly staff, good size room , can’t beat the convenience being in the Haneda terminal. Breakfast buffet is very good. But I must say the automated check -in checkout machines while efficient are a bit impersonal, and not really addressing a real world problem. Tech for tech’s sake is a bit sad. Detracts from an otherwise pleasant experience "

"Great location. Old building so dust accumulates quick. We had our room cleaned every 2-3 days (we stayed 9 nights) and there was a lot of dust accumulation. The wirings were also dusty. It’s also very hot. No AC just a fan and humidifier so we were sweating at night. I asked the front desk if we can open the windows but of course the answer is no. Staff is great and location is great. Just the building is old and outdated. "

"Hotel is in a great location. It is just across the street from the shinagawa station. From there you can get most places. Only negative is breakfast buffet. It is fairly pricey . The selection of western types of food is not up to par for the price. I would have expected an omelette station for the price. Food was generally not hot but maybe that is an asian thing. Overall the hotel is very good. There is a 7-11 just outside the hotel if you prefer a quick breakfast. Closest macdonalds is on the other side of the train station but not too far if you are looking for inexpensive breakfast. I would stay again because of access to the train station"
