"While the hotel has a big name, it is really a roadside motel. For traveling in July, we paid $390 for a regular double room and it was incredibly small with basically just the space for two beds and a small table. The shower with hot water also runs out every 15 minutes, so you have to wait for another 15 for it to refill. The shower stall is so poorly designed that every time you take a shower, water can splash all over the bathroom… There is no amenity whatsoever in the room (though the room...

"The location is very nice, nestled at the base of Peter's Island which offers a beautiful view and between two excellent sightseeing spots. Dyrholey is about 10 minutes to the east, and the the Skogafoss waterfall is about 10 minutes to the west. Nero (dog) was a sweet and friendly welcoming committee, The place is pretty pricey for the condition of the property, and breakfast wasn't included in our plan. The walls are also very thin, even though we had a private bathroom we could still hear...
