We weren't told until a couple weeks before our stay that a bus was required to reach the property. We were stunned to find that bus tickets for our family of four were almost TWICE as expensive as the $285 room we booked for a single night. The rooms are very cozy, the bathroom is clean, and there are plenty of complimentary breakfast items. Just keep in mind that there’s no option to cook your own meals here."

"Electric out. Staff unreachable by phone (would not answer). Did not respond to DM via Expedia. Never responded days after reservation. Expedia unable to contact them also. "

"It is a self check in hotel. We arrived and the hotel room they gave us did not exist the code did not match any other doors. We reached out to the number provided and the phone was turned off. It didn't look like anyone was staying there, no cars in the parking lot, etc. We waited for a response for 1.5 hours and needed to go book another hotel room at 10:30PM at night last minute. "

"Really enjoyed our stop at The Hill - staff upgraded us to the main building (didn't realize i booked us into the cottages by mistake) and was very pleasant. Room was fine - a little small with an odd door out the bathroom to the patio - but was cute and cozy. Restaurant staff was nice and the girl at the front was really friendly and welcoming. "
