Negatives: Pool access: key card did not work; when raised, staff insisted it did rather than resolving the issue. Room facilities: no tea/coffee, no water provided, and fridge not functioning. Ventilation: no effective ventilation, making the room uncomfortable in warm conditions. Temperature control: central heating still active with no ability to adjust, despite ~24°C outside. Bathroom: bath only, no shower — not practical, particularly for elderly guests. Room quality: no balcony, view onto car park, and overall lack of comfort or atmosphere (minimal décor, dated feel). "Excellent location, charming place and would definitely recommend staying during the fall (however be aware of the date that hotel shuts down as the services are cut) upshot is that there are less tourist from bus, boat arriving during the end of the season"
