Fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms, lovely property, friendly and effective staff. The location just outside Galle Fort is perfect, a short walk or even shorter tuk tuk ride up the hill and the peace and sanctuary of historic Sun House. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice small hotel on the beach. 100m walk to turtle beach. The guys working there are really nice too!

Fantastic place to stay. Was there for 8 nights with my daughter. Staff cannot do enough for you. They are very welcoming and genuinely lovely people who love their country and love to practice their English. Thanks for a fantastic week Villa 46 and I hope to see you all again,

Clean room, in a perfect setting. Big breakfast.

Good spacious room and friendly staff.

Beautiful old Dutch house, lovely balcony with view of the fort walls and the sea beyond. View west to the setting sun. Swimming spot within three minutes walk. Good fan and AC. Good size room and bathroom. Very nice breakfast at a nearby property. Management and staff very helpful in a pleasant reserved way. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

My room was spotless and had everything I needed. The family that run it are friendly and kind, they can't do enough for you. A few minutes walk takes you to the beach, restaurants and bars.

Out of the center of Galle, but was nice and quiet.

Friendly owners, clean room, comfortable bed, superb location for watching the sunset

The accommodation itself was fantastic, with very tastefully done rooms with lovely bathroom and outdoor seating area. The breakfast was also amazing and worth the stay just by itself!!! Finally, the customer service was second to none - nothing was tom much trouble for the hosts.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean with a nice bathroom and warm showe. A/C was great. Top location right in the centre of Fort too

The Secret Garden offers a gorgeous haven of peace and tranquility to escape to from the hot sunshine and humidity of Sri Lanka. Very welcoming, attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful old colonial buildings which were rebuilt following the devastation of the 2004 tsunami. It takes less than a minute to walk to the lovely beach of Unawatuna which has plenty of bars and restaurants. A wide variety of delicious breakfasts available; they will also prepare you a typical and delicious Sri Lankan...

Met by staff as I walked down pathway towards the lodging. Basic, clean, comfortable bed with air con & kettle, private bathroom. Great location near the ramparts & lighthouse. Good for price.

Very nice guest house (b&b) about 25 mins walk or 5 mins by tuk tuk from centre of Galle. The hosts couldn’t be nicer or more helpful and even offered us lifts to town. Sri Lankan or English breakfasts were great. Very clean house with delightful garden in a real Sri Lankan setting. Be aware though, no hot water for showers. Overall terrific value for money.
