"Five star plus hotel. Some maintenance work being done during low season but does not detract from overall experience or amenities. Breakfast buffet excellent in variety and quality. Great swimming pools and activities. Only wish beach was larger or more private, now it is shared with several other hotels on the same beach, most of which are also very upscale fortunately."

"Besides the fact there were roaches in both villas they put us in, the bigger issue was the fact that two of the male workers let themselves in our locked villa while we were relaxing in the pool (3 women traveling alone) after we told them we were unavailable. "We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, all the staff were very helpful. The room we booked ended up having an ocean view, even though we only booked a deluxe king which was an added bonus. The welcome drink was also very nice after a long flight. Be prepared to either wait for a buggy to pick you up or walk up a log of hills, as the whole hotel was up and down in the hills. "Wonderful stay for families. Clean rooms. Staff were super kind and helpful. Pool was very fun. Resort restaurant, Eagle Ray, had a wide variety of foods - all very good. Beach was within walking distance which was a nice break from the pool. We were able to get into the ocean up to the shore but the currents were too strong and not advisable to swim in. Sunset was amazing. Overall, the resort had everything we needed and was relaxing. You could easily get a Grab if you wanted to be in the...
