A blast from the past

Linda was very nice and accommodating. The “leave the key” box was unsecured so I was concerned for the safety and security of the key left at 6:30 am. I called the phone number on the office door. No answer and no voicemail capability. However, I did receive a call back, missed it. Didn’t receive a voicemail. So I called back to share my concern about the key box. Was told by the female who answered ,”it’s alright” so we didn’t worry about it. It’s a dated structure with a small shower compartment so we decided to skip the shower. There was a pink sink in the bathroom confirming the dated structure. Overall, it was available, no sketchy looking characters, relatively clean and felt safe.

Should not even be an option.

Shame on you for even offering this place! The room is outdated and smells. The refrigerator had mold in it. Did not even attempt the shower.

This is probably one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in a long time. When we entered the room there was a light on and the television was on, like someone had just left the room. The windows were all open, I assume to help air the place out as it was musty. But the room was freezing because of it. I also could not get one of the windows to close all of the way. The bedroom's lights did not work. One lamp bulb was loose, another was burnt out, and the third was actually broken. The carpet was thin and felt dirty. There were silverfish in the bathroom. The bathroom was full of rust (even the back of the hair dryer was rusty), and the air vent looks like it hasn't ever been cleaned. When I went to use a hand towel to dry my hands it was stained and there was hair on it. Would not recommend this place to anyone. We were uncomfortable and just wanted to leave.

Very old and shoddy facility. I have stayed in my share of beaten down hotels but this really takes the cake. We wanted a place with kitchen as traveling with family with dietary restrictions. That limited our options and as it was only for a night, we didn’t think of going for an Airbnb. That was a mistake. What passed as kitchen were two non-functional stove that were wrapped with silver foil and didn’t work. The microwave literally stopped due to overheating if we ran it for two minutes straight. The game was to run it for two minutes and when it shut off, let it revive on its own in a few minutes. The shower too had lukewarm water and we ended up just checking out of the place as soon as possible in the morning. The only good thing was probably the attendant, who seemed an honest person and helpful. Considering that this wasn’t really a cheap place, we feel very cheated.

The property is older and could use a little bit of renovation. It's not bad but it looks like it's been patched up over and over again and could use a refresh. It's a good choice for a low-budget motel.

The receptionists at the front desk was very nice and cheerful! Her demeanor was pleasant and inviting. The property was clean, aside from one dark hair on the hand towel in the bathroom. It was a huge bummer to not have coffee available in the morning, and also inconvenient that the ice machine wasn’t functioning. Thankfully, there is a 7-11 within walking distance! With the quiet, clean environment, pleasant customer service, and inviting ambiance, I would absolutely recommend this motel to others. Although I would rate 8/10, due to the lack of coffee and ice, the hospitality makes up for it.

Crappy motel

This an old and run down motel from the 60’s. It was very depressing. It was clean. Towels were old, rough and ratty - you wouldn’t clean your car with. Bed was comfortable. There police called to an incident while I was there. All exterior lights were off the first night. I recommend staying away from this place.

No air conditioning, the room was 85-90 degrees at most times including while trying to sleep so we didn’t get any sleep! The shower had no cold water so you were taking a scorching hot shower! When the temp outside is over 100 you don’t want to take a hot shower! The shower curtain and one of the fridges were moldy. Advertised WiFi and no wifi when owner was asked for information on it. Very outdated and could use work in the room. Went to the office a few times and no one was there.
