"Our stay at Wainscott Woods Retreat was very comfortable. The location is convenient, the newly renovated room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only suggestion is that there needs to be some clear signage at the entrance to the property. We arrived in daylight and still had a very hard time finding the place. Overall, a wonderful stay. Thank you!"

"I arrived way after hours very nervous when I saw the office closed for check-in, and then to the right of the front door was an envelope with my name on it and my room key. Everything following that was seamless, my room was clean, and the Wi-Fi password was left inside. Great little place. I’m very happy. "

"Bill, our host was always available, and happy to give us helpful advice about restaurants and things to do in the area. A really nice guy.The house is in a picture card location on a beautiful creek, yet within a 5 minute scenic walk into the village, or to the waterfront town. Will certainly be back."
