We had an absolutely incredible stay at Viesca. The setting is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Concetta welcomed us and kindly showed us around, talked us through the facilities... The pool is lovely, and it was great to be able to play tennis as well. This is a fantastic hotel for the money. The room was large and comfortable and the facilities very good including two swimming pools. The accomodation is in blocks spread out around the very nice grounds and the staff were very helpful. The location is a fair way from Florence up in the mountains which makes it peaceful and quiet - just the job. Buffet meal with a man with a guitar on the Thursday was very good. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Hotel David for four nights. The staff are welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The cleaning staff did an invisible but excellent job, leaving our room immaculate every day. Our twin room was spacious, with ample storage space, and a large shower room off a small hallway. The bed was very comfortable. There a wide variety of food for breakfast, including fresh fruit and freshly made pastries and cakes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind the 15-20-minute walk...

This is a lovely hotel with very accommodating and friendly staff. It's situated outside of Florence about 20 minutes by car, however the hotel runs a shuttle bus, but last one back from Florence is at 7.30 p.m. which means you miss the night time atmosphere and views in the city unless you pay for a cab. The hotel is sat in beautiful surrounding and gardens with paved walks through the grounds.

A friendly beautiful hotel

One of the best hotels I have stayed - small, 'boutique' feel. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff - they seemed to want us to enjoy our stay ! Stayed 2 x one night, so had 2 different rooms - both quite different, but both excellent quality & space. Dinner in restaurant was superb; breakfast buffet excellent. c. 20 minute walk into the centre of Florence, maybe 30 mins to Ponte Vecchio, or use the shuttle bus or taxis. Highly recommended - can't wait to go back !

A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed using the gym and the bar too. Will definitely stay again!
