"This property is a 9 minute ride from the airport - good for a one night stay before an early flight the next day. There is an airport shuttle bus to take you to the airport. Be sure to make a reservation beforehand. It is not a hop on bus. There were some tourists that missed a bus ride because they hadn't preregistered and the bus driver leaves on time. The hotel was nice with a lobby with good snacks and a well stocked bar with draft beer. Staff were friendly and helpful. Upstairs, there is a bistro for dinner that appears to be a draw also for the local folks. The included breakfast served in the bistro was very good. The mattresses could be better, but this is not a luxury property. The location is on the site of the former US Navy base vacated in 2005. There are some places to have lunch within walking distance. You will kind of feel you are in the middle of nowhere after your Iceland vacation, but it was convenient and worked well for us."

"First of all, the staff and the breakfast was amazing! All the staff, specially the breakfast person and the front desk person were super nice and very friendly. The property itself was clean, conveniently located close to airport. The rooms are little cozy. Overall its a good stay."
