The front desk staff when we were checking in (couldn’t remember the whole name but start with Aj) was pleasant, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We thought he was the owner! Our room is very nice, clean and roomy, unlike a typical European room, small. The only thing would make this hotel perfect is the blackout drape since the Sun never sets ! The Fiskbarinn restaurant was great not just the food but also the service. The check out staff was also pleasant, he made the best expresso! Highly recommended.

We were delayed in our flight. Needed a room and they were great even sent texts back and forth prior to landing. Close to airport but couldn’t hear planes. Staff were great and so was the breakfast. Shuttle back to airport was good also. Great stopover location!!

Super pleasant hotel to spend our last night in Iceland before an early flight. Airport shuttle really makes it worth it because the cost of a taxi to the airport is $$$. Lovely staff, great breakfast.

It’s a beautiful place. Gives a very homely feel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Super close to the airport, and about 45 minutes away from Reykjavik town center. I recommend renting a car if you stay here.

Pool was under construction but wasn’t listed on their website or booking. It was the main reason why we chose to stay here. Disappointed.

If you like luxurious hotels that cater to your every need, you'll love this hotel. The views are incredible - we couldn't stop looking out the window and we even spotted seals playing in the bay. Staff was great. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was wonderful. It's expensive but not totally unreasonable for Iceland prices.

The property was definitely beautiful and just an amazing experience but the truly what makes this place a luxury stay is the exceptional service. World class service in all departments. I can’t a imagine a place having better customer service. Thought the volcanoes made things difficult they adapted well and maintained a luxury experience.

Clean. Restaurant food was good. Rooms were A bit noisy- thin walls. Hot tube needs to be resurfaced, it snagged my swimsuit. Would be nice if towels were provided up at the hot tub area as well. I would still here again due to location to airport and staff were nice

We absolutely loved Hotel Berg! The accommodations were excellent and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We also enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant which was also five star! Will stay there again for sure. They also have an outdoor hot tub which was clean and comfortable !!

Beautiful property and location overlooking the harbour. Staff was welcoming and very accommodating. Super convenient to launch for day trips (we rented a car for our travels) and the hotel was quiet and well maintained. Highly recommend!

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely short stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, with great service and attentiveness. The hot pool was fun and we had it all to ourselves while it snowed. Perfect location to do a bit of local sightseeing and relax.

The staff are very friendly and attentive. They gave suggestions on trips around the area, and wok us up to see the Northern Lights. There is a free Nespresso bar when the restaurant is open. Dinner was good, although a little pricey. Al in all, it was a very good stay and will definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to friends and family.
