Great breakfast. Close to the airport. Guesthouse accommodation includes breakfast at the hotel, which is delicious and beautifully decorated over the holidays. Only downside is guesthouse has shared bathrooms.

We stayed at the guesthouse but had access to the wonderful breakfast at the Hotel Keflavík across the street. There were many hot and cold options. The guesthouse is small and quiet with a shared bathroom. It was very clean with everything we needed.

Perfect for solo travel

I stayed in the Guesthouse (not the hotel). It was clean, comfortable, quiet...a small tidy room, exactly what I needed for my brief stay at a reasonable price. The front desk attendants were all very friendly and helpful in planning some sites to see.

Delicious breakfast

Nice place to stay close to the airport. The guesthouse was clean, quiet, and modern. Two nice large bathrooms. Check in at the hotel across the street. Lots of parking in the hotel parking lot. Don't miss out on breakfast. The best we've had on our trip.

I don’t have any complaints - staff were great, breakfast buffet was awesome. Room was clean as was the shared washrooms. It was less then a 10min walk to various restaurants, pubs and stores. Definitely worth considering when traveling to Keflavik.

The breakfast was amazing. We ate during a pretty big earthquake and nothing fell down and we felt safe and the breakfast was delicious. I liked that it wasnt too expensive to travel by taxi to the airport. We walked to the public pool with hot tubs and the Giantess cave. Super clean.

The best!

This was such a tremendous experience. We arrived before check in and Sunny greeted us and stored our luggage while we explored Keflavík . Then we asked Adu about scheduling a cab the next morning and asked if we wanted an upgraded room! Of course! The breakfast was truly one of the best I’ve had at a hotel in quite awhile! Perfect place to stay for two nights

Hotel is very nice and fancy with many fine details in style and decor. We stayed in the annex guesthouse compricing of 6 rooms and 2 bathrooms and a small sitting area in the hallway. Rooms are of decent size and the beds were comfortable. However, be aware of cold leaking in through the window. Hotel is situated only a few minutes away from the airport. We arrived on a flight early in the morning and knew about check in time was in the afternoon. Instead we wanted to ask if it was possible to have breakfast on same day of arrival since we could not make breakfast on departure day due to early flight. That service was however not offered and we had to pay for the extra breakfast. A seemingly small gesture for the hotel with no extra cost, exept for the last star in this review. But a part from that we valued our stay very much.

Arrived to the Keflavik Airport around 12:30 at night, took about an hour to hail a taxi and got to Guesthouse around 2 am. Check-in is at the front desk of the hotel across the street, which was very simple. You go up some steps, open a door, and you are greeted with a hallway with around 10 rooms, 2 bathrooms on the left side that are shared between all the rooms. The room itself is practically a shoebox. It was clean, looked nice, and the bathroom worked as it should. However, the only reason I booked this hotel was because I saw that it had a sauna, and since I only had one night in Iceland and wanted to recover after a late journey, I was really looking forward to it. Finding out that it's in service and has been for a while at the front desk was pretty irritating. Not typically a karen, but when that's pretty much the main reason I selected a place and there was no note anywhere that the sauna is out of service currently, it's very aggravating. Other than that, breakfast at the hotel across the street (came with the room) was incredible - so much variety, lots of healthy options, coffee machine with multiple delicious tasting grounds. If you can afford it, Guesthouse is a good option. But be aware - the room is TINY. Even a single hostel bedroom is larger, and those go for half the price.

Room was very nice as was the bathroom. Breakfast was amazing! Only complaint is others in the guesthouse didn’t adhere to quiet hours. I heard slamming doors, loud bangings from the bathroom and common area as early as 6am.

Good pit stop after landing

The guesthouse is literally across the street from the hotel - so going there to check in is no issue. There is a flight of stairs to access the guesthouse. Since we arrived at 6am after our flight from the US - reception was kind enough to allow us to do a late check out. Breakfast was already being served at 6 am so that was also a great bonus.
