Great room. We booked last minute and got a nice lake view! The staff was very helpful. The complementary Breakfast is standard, so nothing special. The walk out to the lake was very nice. We got to try the hot tube and sauna and it was excellent! Cost was reasonable also! It is a bit out of the way, but definitely worth it!

This property is beautiful. We loved the stay. it is located on a lake with beautiful views. Room is large and nicely updated with very large bathroom and walk in shower. Breakfast was great, even had eggs and bacon. Staff were helpful with traveling advice. Sauna available.

Excellent location for a quiet getaway. We'll definitely stay here again. Michael's cod is superb! Just be aware though, this is a 20-minute ride from downtown which works out to about a $45 USD cab fare

On site parking, friendly staff, nice room and incredible view over a frozen lake. Definitely recommend this hotel and after staying here with my daughter's to see a Laufey concert, already have my wife nagging me to stay again but this time bring her along

My husband and I stayed in multiple hotels during our trip to Iceland, but this was by far the very best experience we had. The staff was so friendly and genuinely seemed to care about the guests, which was refreshing. Breakfast each morning was tasty and greatly appreciated, and it was a wonderful way to begin the day by eating in the dining room with a beautiful view of the lake and distant mountains. The room was large and comfortable. My favorite part was the shower because it didn't leave me feeling claustrophobic! When we return to Iceland, this will be our go-to hotel for sure!
