We had a superior room and it was great. It included an island with a sink and coffee/tea maker. We had a window and could see the front facing the town and enjoyed it. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We had breakfast one day of our stay and it was very good with several choices on the buffet. The staff is wonderful! They were warm and welcoming every time we walked into the lobby and they gave us wonderful suggestions for restaurants, all of which were excellent. They were very helpful in suggesting things to see and made us feel very comfortable. The location is perfect for walking the downtown area. I had noticed in previous reviews that people gave high ratings for location and staff, and I’d have to say that is spot-on. In our last day, the staff allowed us to leave our luggage after check out so we could go eat before we caught the bus to the airport. That was very helpful. We would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Alena, Martin, Ana Maria and the rest of the staff made our stay at Kvosin amazing. Room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The kitchenette is an added bonus. Great location with walking distance options for food, drinks and attractions

While the noise insulation to the outside was excellent, the noice between rooms was very loud, particularly from the room above me--the footfalls felt amplified, and in the hall outside my door--constant door slamming. The staff were lovely, even moved my room, but there is nothing that can be done about the building itself.

The front desk staff at Kvosin were amazing! Right from the start they did their best to make us happy during our stay. From helping us with a very early check-in to taking the reins and rescheduling our bookings so we could get a nap in before heading to see the sights (overnight flights suck), Elayna and the guys at the desk were awesome! Oh and the room was super nice - 2 bedrooms, living area and kitchen - would have loved to stay there a couple more days but had to head West. Highly recommend this hotel when in Reykjavik

Very good hotel. Needed a room for 5 which most hotels can't do but got a great room with two double beds and a sofa bed. There was a comfortable seating area and table plus kitchenette and a good coffee machine. There was plenty of space for everyone and the location is fantastic, literally a two minute walk from lots of bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Staff were nice and the room was clean and had great facilities. The issue was the noise levels. Everytime someone walked it sounded as if they were stomping and periodically when I presume another room used their facilities a mini waterfall sound came down. Overall it's a wonderful place but the noise is too great and even with wearing earplugs to bed it was too loud.

Beautiful hotel. Close to shops and restaurants. Spotlessly clean. The only issue was the kitchen area: we booked an apartment as we were bringing children and wanted to make our own meals. There was one pan, one frying pan and two burners. No microwave, kettle or toaster meant we were very limited to what to cook. I would choose somewhere else if you wish to make your own meals. However, the apartment was perfect with this exception.

This hotel is gorgeous. It's centrally located. We loved the keyless entry which meant we could split up and head back to the hotel when we wanted. The staff was incredibly helpful in locating a local laundromat and calling a taxi for the return to the airport. The rooms were spacious and bright. The blackout curtains were helpful with ambient street light.

The hotel was spotless and the rooms accommodated a family of 4. We really appreciated the kitchenette and refrigerator. The hotel was close to all the bus stops. You could walk to all shops and restaurants in Reykjavík. The staff & service was the best part of our stay! They were beyond accommodating. They made our taxi reservations, called our tour company and provided personal recommendations on restaurants. We would highly recommend Kvosin Hotel and if we ever return to beautiful Iceland we will book with them again. Thank you!
