Cozy and Modern Hotel w/ Great Food & Service

The food was amazing, the room was cozy, the view of Harpa was fantastic, and all hotel staff were the nicest and most attentive! It also had a great gym and spa (although we did not get a chance to experience the spa services). While we were stuck inside due to Code Red weather conditions, I couldn't think of a nicer place to be "trapped" inside than The Reykjavik EDITION.

The service was very lackluster throughout the stay, including valet service, not refilling the coffee pods each day, and having left over rubbish in the rooms trash bin from the previous guests stay.

Great rooms, spa access for guests, a number of dining options, valet service, and great staff. Convenient location just away from the bustle, so still quiet and perfect if you’re also seeing a show at the Harpa. Wonderful place to stay and a nice home base from where you can explore Reykjavík.

Exceptional throughout

This is a real gem of a hotel. The service is exceptional throughout from the spa, bars and restaurants. Nothing is ever problem and the staff are genuine. They go above and beyond to help. The food at the tides restaurant is definitely worthy of its Michelin recommendation. I would definitely recommend the al a carte selection for breakfast - the langoustine bennidict was beyond amazing.

We spent one night in Rekyavik, The Edition was in a perfect spot. Walking distance to the town, had all the modern amenities you could ask for. The lobby bar was a nice place to hang out for a bit before heading out for the evening. Breakfast was not included and was very expensive. Overall a pleasant experience.
