Also, the room smelled unbelievably bad and the surface of the bathtub was pealing up. I checked out immediately due to the smell. I acknowledge that I needed to pay for one non-refundable night, but I was told by the hotel and Expedia that the second night would be waved and that did not happen. "There were like hundreds of ants in our bed in the morning so we left at 6:30am. Wasn’t rly anywhere else to sit in the tiny room."

"Beautiful antique decor and spacious room. Rom could have used one more lamp behind the couch and the overhead light on a dinner would have been nice. Not knowing there were no windows in the unit would have been helpful, that was a bit of a shock. Overall a good experience, would go back but not stay in the Lake Riply Room 102."

"We had a room in the basement. They were dealing with flooding issues, which left a strong mold/mildew scent. But you would see staff actively cleaning throughout the day to deal with the mess. Kids loved the pool however the switch for the jets to the hot tub only worked if someone stood there and held down the button. The breakfast was great. The pancakes were a hit with the kids. I'd give them a second chance because you could see staff cleaning constantly to get the flooding damages fixed."
