"So amazing! This is an authentic chalet tucked in the mountains. It’s a quick drive to Lauterbrunnen or there’s a free bus. I love the little grocery market that’s across the street. Just a stone throw away. This market has famous croissants that are a regional favorite.. but don’t eat too many because the breakfast at this hotel is great. The staff was very polite. The only thing I would encourage them to do is provide coffee in the rooms. They do have teabags in the hallway and water kettles...

"We loved our stay here. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived quite early and they allowed us to check-in and even gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Located in a very quiet area - steps away from the Oeschinensee trail and cable car. The cable car was not open during our stay, as it was off-season. "It is too far walking from train station. Bus not operating due to construction for a week. Even bus is operating, you still need to walk uphill about 500 m . We have to walk uphill for about 20 mins. I would suggest to stay in Grindelwald ( nice view ) or Interlaken area. They picked us up but their rate is not standardized, depends on the receptionist. "Great modest hotel affiliated with a larger full hotel. Big room, comfy bed, very close to the West train. We also had daily breakfast—nice buffet with a great selection, a little different each morning. It was awesome!!"
